How to Manage Supplier Credits

  1. Click on Enter Supplier Invoice

    In the Main Navigation Menu, select the **A/P Module**, expand "Supplier Invoices" and click "**Enter Supplier Invoice**"

  2. Enter the order number

    If there is no order number, select "**No Order for this Invoice**"

  3. Select Vendor

    If there are multiple suppliers for the order in questions, select the appropriate supplier and ender the **Credit Memo number** in the "**Invoice Number**" field.

  4. Select the Item(s)

    Select the item, verify the unit cost, and change the quantity. For example, if two items were returned, the quantity would be **negative two "-2"**

  5. Click on Notes and Attachments

    You can add notes to the credit memo by clicking "More" under order notes or by expanding the "**Notes**" section and selecting "**Add Notes**"

  6. Verify & Save

    Double check work and ensure that the "**Net Total**" matches the supplier credit memo. Add additional lines, such as restocking fee, as needed. Then, click "**Save**"

  7. Close Purchase Journal

    **Close the purchase journal** to fully post the credit memo.

Apply the credit to open supplier invoices when processing your check run.
