Sales order tax adjustments can be completed per order/ customer invoice. If elected to do so, you can also create a manual journal entry. However, this is not the recommended approach as it subverts the subsidiary customer ledger as well as the customer order.
- Click on Sales Tax
Within the customer invoice, click on "**Sales Tax**".
- Select Tax Routine
Select the **tax routine** to apply to the customer invoice. Please note these routine need to be establish before they can be selected.
- Click on Submit
**Submit** your selection, verify calculated amount and save the invoice.
- Click on Create Manual Journal Entry
Alternatively, you can create a manual journal entry that subverts the customer by navigating to "**Create Manual Journal Entry**".
- Click on Create New
Click on "**Create New**"
- Select GL Accounts
Select **GL accounts** and click on **Submit**
