After converting a proposal into a quote you can find the original proposal number by following these steps.
Go go to Proposals menu
Choose “Manage Quotes"
In the quotes table you'll see a column for Proposal # between the "JobID" column and the "Sales Person" column.
Note: the column label will show "Pro..." until the width of the column is expanded.Find your quote and the reference Proposal number to the right
