How to Manage Order Notes

  1. Select the Order

    In the main navigation menu, click on the **Orders module**, click on "**Orders List**" and select the order in question.

  2. Click on Internal Notes

    In the bottom half of the order, click on the "**Internal Notes**" tab.

  3. Click on Add Note

    Click on the "**Add Note**" button in the right corner.

  4. Enter Internal Note

    Enter your internal note, select the departments with access to the note.

⚠️ Alert!

If a department is excluded, such as Accounting, then anyone with that user profile will be unable to view the note. This is includes the ability to know the note exists.

  1. Notify Parties

    Select persons to be notified, which will add a notification when the user logs into Aturian. Click on **Notify by eMail** to also send the user an email.

  2. Portal Notes

    Add an additional layer of notes with **Portal Notes**.

  3. Pop-up Notes

    Add additional layer of notes with "**Pop-up Notes**". Specify level of pop-up to display.

  4. Click on Submit

  5. Order Comments

    Notes may also be included in the comments section of the order. Click on the "**Order Details**" tab and click on "**Comments**" link.

  6. Order History

    Operations can also add notes to the order. To navigate to these notes, within the "**Order Details**" tab, click on "**History**".

  7. Notes Section

    View notes in the "**Notes**" section, such as follow up status.

  8. View Order Notes

    From the order list, click on the "**Order Notes**" icon to view order internals notes and attachments.
